I partnered with a startup focused on educating deskless workers—specifically construction and road crews—helping them stay compliant with industry regulations while saving employers time and money on training and certification. The goal was to create a bold, engaging web presence that would elevate their brand, differentiate them from dull industry competitors, and increase their visibility in the market. The new website successfully boosted brand awareness and began generating valuable leads shortly after launch.

The original branding leaned heavily on grey tones and lacked personality. I introduced a vibrant neon green as the primary accent—drawing inspiration from high-visibility safety vests and green traffic lights to evoke clarity, safety, and energy. The visual identity was designed to make compliance and routine qualifications feel fresh and approachable, challenging the notion that education for field workers has to be dull. The new aesthetic was a hit with the client’s audience, sparking enthusiastic feedback from users and stakeholders alike.
Brainstorming different data visualisation designs.
I led the design and production process from start to finish, managing a small team including a junior designer, copywriter, and web developer. We began by aligning on brand values and audience needs, then rapidly developed a bold visual identity and site architecture. The website was built using modern UX patterns and best practices—prioritising clarity, mobile accessibility, and fast load times to serve workers in the field. Frequent feedback loops and hands-on collaboration kept the project agile and aligned with the client’s goals.
The result is a confident, engaging platform that redefines how education can look and feel in the construction and roadwork sectors. It not only brought the client’s brand to life but also helped generate new business, increase engagement, and position them as a modern, forward-thinking player in a traditionally conservative space.
